Clementine: This is it, Joel. It’s going to be gone soon.
Joel: I know.
Clementine: What do we do?
Joel: Enjoy it.

Results.

The outcome is so radically different if you enjoy what you do. People do notice it. You can’t fake it.

In other news, we had our Christmas celebrations today at office.

Firecrackers

Quite a few people are cursing all the noise and the pollution. As is Ruby. She has been shaking with fear every time a bomb explodes in the building compounds.

Some chakri chaklis, coconut barfis, and sakkar paaraas later, I think the Diwali went quite good. But I miss those long Diwali vacations during school.

fractures

I wonder how come I never had a bone fractured. Never a hand or a leg plastered.

I think I’d like one.

Murphys law

Applies goddamn everywhere.

When you pass by a quiet road stretch, travelling, and happen to look at the moon, you wonder and admire its beauty. Especially the full moon.

And it freakin’ doesn’t appear when you’re starving and praying that it comes out asap.

Sotd

Been listening to this song for most of time today:

“Yaad kiya dil ne, kahaan ho tum,
jhoomti bahaar hai, kahaan ho tum,
pyaar se pukaar lo, jahaan ho tum,
pyaar se pukaar lo, jahaan ho tum.”

This is a song from the 1953 film Patita – mostly famous due to people playing it on harmonica and mouth organs and such. This song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Hemant Kumar.  One of the antaras has this line:

“Mere liye aasmaan ho tum”

I think I’m born a tad too late. I certainly don’t live in this era. My choices lie in the past.

Decisions. And Cheating.

Calvin and Hobbes

And ethics. :)

” Some people are electrifying, they light up a room when they leave.”

- Yiddish proverb.

Another waste.

It sucks when you fail an exam by one wrong answer. And 2%.
