Certified crazy

Been listening to this song for most of time today:

“Yaad kiya dil ne, kahaan ho tum,
jhoomti bahaar hai, kahaan ho tum,
pyaar se pukaar lo, jahaan ho tum,

This is a song from the 1953 film Patita – mostly famous due to people playing it on harmonica and mouth organs and such. This song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Hemant Kumar.  One of the antaras has this line:

“Mere liye aasmaan ho tum”

I think I’m born a tad too late. I certainly don’t live in this era. My choices lie in the past.

I don’t know why, but I felt like singing this one -

“Woh jab yaad aaye,
bahut yaad aaye,
ghum-e-zindagi ke,
andhere mein humne,
chiraag-e-mohobbat,
jalaaye, bujhaaye… ”
