I happened to watch Yuvraaj yesterday (out of boredom and no other handy choice) and it looked like the movie has been shot just because they had to. It seemed as if towards the end, the director got bored of directing the movie, so ended up with the abrupt hospital scene and ended it right there. Not the sorts of things Mukta arts produced in the Past.

What do you do when you feel very very tired, very sleepy and have some important task at hand? Especially when the known solution – Caffeine doesn’t work?
1 Ltr of juice and coffee later, it still doesn’t help much. I got to find new alternatives to stay awake. The jaagrans have started, and exams are nowhere in sight.

Paris is Grand! And charmingly beautiful in its own way. It is very much like Mumbai though – people are always in a hurry, well most of the times.
It was an early winter in Paris – too cold, but I ain’t complaining. Maple leaves everywhere. With less than 30 hours on hand, I tried to feel Paris. A lot more to be seen, a lot more to be heard. May be, some other time, some other season.
Did I mention that most of the tourist places checked above were done on a cold, windy evening, without a proper overcoat, in a saree?
Crazy.

Dear Lazyweb,
With all the idiots that I end up talking to, and all of them giving me different answers, I resort to you, O Lazyweb!
Q: Do I need a transit visa?
I’m travelling on a French type D visa, to Nice via London Heathrow. The time between the two BA flights (BOM-LHR and LHR-NCE) is 2h 40 mins. I don’t change airports, but I do change terminals and go from t5 to t1.
Quite a few people commented that I don’t need a transit visa, then some said I do. If you do know a definite answer to this, please leave a comment. You could also point me to some phone / email id that you think might help. Any help is appreciated!

- Joel: I know.

You better watch out, you better not shout,
You better not cry, I’m telling you why,
Santa Claus is coming to town.
Heeeeeeeee’s making a list, and checking it twice,
He’s gonna find out who’s naughty and nice,
Santa Claus is coming to town!
I had been singing these lines over and over again all over the place. In the elevator, on the way to the canteen, while climbing the stairs, etc. I wonder what were people thinking when they came across one such idiot?

I wonder how come I never had a bone fractured. Never a hand or a leg plastered.
I think I’d like one.
